These terms are an agreement between you and Ricekernel Ltd ("we", "us"), which operates PassFirst. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What PassFirst is
PassFirst is a study and practice tool for professional certification exams. We are an independent test-prep product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official source for any licensing body, government agency, or credentialing organization. Our content is for preparation only — it is not the official exam, and using PassFirst does not guarantee that you will pass any test or obtain any credential. Always rely on the official materials from your credentialing authority.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Purchases & subscriptions
- Some content requires a one-time purchase or a subscription. Prices and what's included are shown before you buy.
- Payments are processed by Stripe (web) or by Apple / Google for in-app purchases. Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store's terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription from your account settings, or through your app-store account for in-app purchases.
- Refunds. One-time purchases unlock content for the life of that purchase. For purchases made through Apple or Google, refunds are handled under that store's policy. For web purchases, contact [email protected].
The AI tutor
PassFirst includes AI-generated explanations and tutoring. AI can make mistakes and may produce inaccurate or incomplete information. It is a study aid only and is not professional, legal, medical, or clinical advice. Always verify against the official source material for your credential, and never rely on the app for real-world safety, medical, or emergency decisions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our questions, explanations, or content.
- Share your account, or attempt to bypass purchase or access controls.
- Disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
- Use the app for anything unlawful.
Our content
The app, its content, and its software are owned by Ricekernel Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use PassFirst for your own exam preparation. Anything you submit (such as tutor messages) remains yours; you grant us permission to process it to provide the service.
Disclaimers & liability
PassFirst is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ricekernel Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using PassFirst and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use PassFirst after a change means you accept the updated terms.
